We are all friends, neighbors and family members coming together to work towards better health and fitness goals. Some of us want to go to the CrossFit Regional's, some of us want to say good-bye to that extra weight, others want to look hot in a bathing suit and some of us want to get up and down off the floor to play with our grand babies. What brought you to Crossfit in the first place?
Amanda convinced me to try it
What was your first impression of Crossfit and how has that changed?
I thought it was ludicrous and I wanted to die! I realized modifications could be made and with those it can make Crossfit something anyone any age can actually do.
What was your first "bright spot"?
When I graduated the Foundations class and retook my initial test to see how far I had come. Not only did I make it past where I initially stopped, I completed the entire WOD and at that moment I realized I was addicted to this!
What are you working on now?
Improving cardio and heavier Max reps.
Whats your favorite Kairos memory?
Every day I enjoy my box and my box family. I make great memories with everyone every day, BUT if I had to pick just one I would say when we did the 5k Terrain Race together.
